Privacy
The Eikrem Audio apps and plugins, deriva among them, collect no data. This page says so in the words the app stores ask for.

Audio
deriva processes audio on your device, in real time, and nowhere else. The iPhone and iPad app asks for microphone access so it can run your input through the tape machine. If you pick a song from your music library, it asks for access to the library the first time, and copies only that one song into the app to play it through the machine. It only records when you ask it to, and takes and dubs are saved on your device, in the app's own folder. The app never sends audio anywhere. You can take either permission away again at any time in Settings, and the app keeps working as a plugin inside your host.
What is not collected
There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no crash reporting and no network connection of any kind. Your presets and settings stay on your device, in the app's own folder, and go with it if you delete it.
Purchases
A purchase on the App Store is handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy, and I never see your payment details. A purchase on Gumroad is handled by Gumroad under theirs; Gumroad tells me your email address so I can send updates for the product you bought, and I use it for nothing else.
If you write to me, I keep your message for as long as it takes to answer it and to remember what we agreed. Write again and I will delete it.
